Sheryl Allen

Sheryl’s design experience began at an early age growing up with a mother who was an interior designer. Sheryl’s own career began in 1988 when she worked for Bruce Gregga Interiors while attending The International School of Design, both in downtown Chicago. During Sheryl’s time with Bruce Gregga she worked on many residential projects nationally and internationally. This unique experience and exposure to high-end design and furnishings helped shape her own design style and expertise in the field. In 1998 Sheryl started her own firm, Sheryl Allen Interiors, and continued designing in the Chicago area, Midwest, Florida and Arizona. Sheryl always says, “there are many different styles within design but it must be good design”.  After Sheryl and Lisa started Inspire Home and Garden, a home accessory business, they joined forces and expanded Sheryl Allen Interiors. Through great fortune and hard work Lisa and Sheryl have enjoyed many wonderful clients and exciting projects.

Lisa Wennerstrum

Lisa has had an interest in interior design since she can remember. Her mother was a collector of French and Italian antiques. Growing up in New York, Lisa often joined her mom going to tag sales finding unique treasures. She received her BA in Fashion Merchandising from Marymount University, Virginia. Combining her love of textiles and furnishings, her true passion has been realized involving a myriad of projects from initial floor plans, selection of furnishings, fixtures, window treatments, area rugs, and accessories. Lisa embraces a more timeless and fresh look to projects which have taken their design work to Milwaukee, Saugatuck, Naples, Chicago and the western suburbs.
